Job Title: Scheduling Assistant Location: Lancaster, PA Duration: At least 1 year Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary/Contract   About the Role We’re looking for a friendly, organized Scheduling Assistant to join a well-established utility company in Lancaster. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for customers, making sure their questions are answered and their appointments are set up smoothly. You’ll also support the scheduling team with important day-to-day tasks that keep everything running on track.   What You’ll Be Doing Helping Customers

Answer incoming calls and emails with a helpful, professional attitude. Solve customer questions or route them to the right person. Keep records of all customer interactions and share updates with the team.

Supporting Scheduling

Reach out to customers to confirm appointments and go over any pre-job requirements (like inspections or account setups). Send reminders, update schedules, and keep clear notes on all communication.

Keeping Things Organized

Help prepare work packets and process job cards. Double-check holds, update records, and close out work orders. Set up IVR (automated call) appointments. Assist with scheduling temporary disconnects. Look into property damage claims and help coordinate scheduling if the company is responsible.

  What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and organizational skills. Background in customer service (required). Experience with scheduling or administrative work is a plus. Comfortable working with scheduling systems and digital tools. Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
