Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to lead all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions for our growing organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep technical expertise in GAAP, a track record of optimizing financial processes, and the ability to partner closely with executive leadership on strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash management Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes Oversee annual audit and tax preparation, liaising with external auditors and tax professionals Implement process improvements and financial systems enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy Support executive leadership with financial analysis for strategic planning, business development, and operational decisions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff Qualifications

Active CPA license required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred) Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment Must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone and be available during standard business hours Key Competencies
