Systems Administrator (SCCM)

Pay:

$42.00 - $47.00 per hour

Our client is seeking a skilled professional to administer, maintain, develop, and support their enterprise workstation environment. This role involves managing daily operational activities, including application packaging and deployment, as well as monitoring, alerting, and reporting on various IT systems. The successful candidate will also assist technical teams in designing and maintaining IT project plans. The primary focus for this job will be working on

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

System Administration

Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of workstation hardware, operating systems, networks, and desktop technology to effectively identify issues and communicate with project teams and users. Possess proficient technical knowledge of assigned systems, including applications and business practices. Assess project and task requirements to deliver timely and cost-effective solutions. Prepare technical documentation to guide team members on proper workstation implementation and support procedures. Maintain a current and accurate resource library of hardware, software, and system documentation. Ensure high-level security compliance on all workstations and perform security audits to maintain established standards. Application and Tool Support

Strong analytical skills to determine the root cause of incidents and events. Ability to train and educate others. Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, reporting, and presenting information. Aptitude for learning new environments and developing solutions with minimal documentation. Project planning skills. Experience in creating detailed technical and training documentation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Commitment to providing excellent customer service and support. Education and Experience Required

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT systems and network administration. Experience supporting Windows operating systems. Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune,

SCCM , or similar. Preferred Qualifications:

A college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering. 3 years of experience in a healthcare information systems administration role. 3 years of operational experience within a healthcare setting. Change management experience. Licensure, Certification, or Registration (Preferred)

A+, Server+, and Network+ certifications. Extensive and proven experience may be considered in place of certification. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification. Extensive and proven experience may be considered in place of certification.
