Structural Engineer III

to join our team in

Cleveland, OH . In this senior-level position, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing complex structural engineering projects for various types of buildings and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion

Perform advanced structural analysis and design calculations for complex structures

Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team

Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and standards

Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress

Utilize advanced structural analysis software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools

Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions

Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and innovative structural engineering practices

Qualifications: Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering and Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Proficiency in advanced structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA

Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit

Strong skills in finite element analysis and Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Experience with various building materials including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry

In-depth understanding of building codes, standards, and seismic design principles

Proven experience in project leadership and team management

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with project management software and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Science (with structural engineering concentration)

LEED AP certification is a plus

Compensation: $90,000-$90,000 per year
