Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team, providing vital bilingual speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders in school settings. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills in both English and Spanish. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans to help students meet their communication goals. Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups, focusing on areas like articulation, language comprehension, and social communication. Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy goals within IEPs and classroom activities. Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers about students’ progress and strategies for practice at home. Utilize evidence-based techniques and technology to enhance therapy outcomes. Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Qualifications: Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Proficiency in Spanish; certification for bilingual practice preferred. Experience in a school setting is advantageous. Strong understanding of speech and language development and effective therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff. Proficient in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation.
