POSITION:
* Maintenance Worker
* Eight (8) hours per day; 260 days per year.
BUILDING:
* District
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Preferred working knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, and welding (all types). Steam and hot water heating, HVAC experience is a plus, but not required.
* General knowledge and capability of setting up and operating a P.A. system.
* Experience and ability to operate various types of lawn and farm equipment, including front loaders, backhoes and trenching equipment.
* General mechanical ability with prior experience in carpentry, cabinet making or building trades preferred.
* Prior experience preferred in painting, preparing and finishing wood and/or furniture and equipment.
* General knowledge of various methods of material application.
* Must be willing and available to attend any classes, seminars, etc. that are related to the position; must become certified or licensed on any related field that requires certification or licensing.
* Capable of climbing and working extreme heights.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Successful BCII/FBI background checks.
* Successful drug test.
SALARY:
* Starting salary range -- $22.99 to $23.64.
