Position: SBA Construction Loan Processor
Key Responsibilities:
Process and document SBA Construction loans efficiently.
Evaluate Contractor packages, verify references, and ensure licensing compliance.
Review construction contracts for adherence to SBA and bank policies.
Discuss construction policies and procedures with borrowers and contractors.
Analyze cost breakdowns and project budgets for accuracy.
Prepare and send acceptance letters to borrowers and Contractors.
Acquire necessary plans and permits, and coordinate cost reviews from third-party vendors.
Set up Fund Control in the Fund Control Program.
Examine draw requests and necessary support documentation before fund disbursement.
Balance draw requests with allocated construction funds.
Request and assess endorsements from title companies prior to fund release.
Maintain up-to-date construction pipeline reports.
Address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational capabilities.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in the banking or financial services sector.
In-depth knowledge of construction fund control.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Apps.
A self-starter who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to adapt to change.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $24.81 to $34.73, based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.
