Human Resources Manager
Full-time, on-site role based in Brentwood, CA (no relocation assistance)
$150K - $180K Plus profit-based bonus
Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their Executive Leadership Team. This is a pivotal, high-impact role - not just about compliance and policy, but about people, culture, and growth.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in a mid-size or larger organization
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Broad generalist background across recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits
Strong working knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
Proven success leading organizational change and building HR processes from the ground up
Experience managing and developing HR staff
Preferred:
PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
Familiarity with family-owned or founder-led company culture
Spanish language skills (conversational or better)
Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership to develop and execute a modern HR strategy aligned with organizational goals
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to attract and keep top talent
Build and implement programs for performance management, professional development, and leadership growth
Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture
Ensure compliance with California labor laws, safety standards, and company policies
Oversee compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to maintain competitive equity
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on employee relations matters
Support the company through a generational leadership transition with confidence and integrity
Mentor and lead a small HR team (2-3 direct reports)
