Knowledge of analog circuit design, digital electronics design, digital signal processing. LabVIEW desirable. Experience and training in the military/aerospace industry highly desirable.
Job Description: The Hardware Engineer Temp will have a minimum of 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing experience. Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable. Experience with the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators. Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry. Knowledge of test report and procedure generation. Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabView, and/or VHDL.
Role & Responsibilities:
Must have training with one or more of the following:
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) RF Circuit Design Analog Circuit Design Digital Electronics Design FPGA Design Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking) LabView Automated Test Stand Design
Required Qualification:
B.S.E.E. degree from and accredited university or equivalent; and 3+ years related experience and/or training. Masters in Electrical Engineering related field or an MBA is considered a plus. Experience and training in the Military/Aerospace Industry is desirable. Professional and/or technical certifications from accredited educational and vocational institutions desired. 3+ years experience with electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing. Knowledge of motor drivews and controls is desirable. Experience with the use of standard lab test equipment. Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW or VHDL. Defense or aerospace industry experience desired. PCB layout experience desired. Personal Computer literate. Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Schematic Capture (i.e. ORCAD or equivalent) is required.
