What You’ll Do We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Robotics Service Engineer to join our team in developing a groundbreaking robotic system that addresses the complex challenges of stroke care. In this role, you will own the operation and maintenance of prototype systems, including reliability, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. You will also play a key role in supporting pre-clinical and clinical labs, enabling critical evaluation of system performance both in the lab and in real-world settings.

System Service and Maintenance

– Ensure functionality of prototype systems and pre-production units in the field; coordinate subsystem integration; develop and execute procedures for component upgrades and preventive maintenance

Service Infrastructure

– Build the foundation of service work instructions for future in-field serviceability; implement processes to monitor system performance and deploy them to field units

Diagnose and Resolve System Issues

– Proactively identify and investigate system issues and test edge cases to uncover potential failures; document, track, and communicate defects; collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine root cause, implement solutions, and verify fixes

Lab Support

– Support system operation for execution of pre-clinical and clinical labs

System Testing

– Contribute to system verification activities by executing test protocols and documenting test reports; develop and maintain test tools to enable automated and manual testing

What You’ll Bring:

BS/MS in Engineering or related field

5+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting electromechanical systems

Experience with system fleet management and field upgrades, including authoring upgrade and maintenance documentation

Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and ownership of challenges

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines

Some experience with scripting or Python for test automation, data acquisition, and data analysis is a plus
