Description
Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
Building and nurturing a robust network connecting architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and custom builders to specify AZEK products in their projects.
Collaborating with project specifiers to develop tailored specifications based on their needs and challenges.
Maintaining an active project pipeline to be fulfilled through established AZEK Sales Channels in coordination with local Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
Providing product and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) training as an educational resource regarding the features and benefits of our products.
Identifying high-potential specification opportunities in collaboration with local ASMs and their contractors.
Conducting thorough market research to spot trends, changes in industry standards, and competitive insights within the residential specification landscape to inform senior leadership.
Maintaining an aggressive call schedule throughout the year to raise awareness of AZEK's product offerings.
Encouraging specifiers to trial AZEK products and convert them into loyal customers.
Creating and maintaining customer records and tracking opportunities using our CRM systems.
Assisting in the feedback and development of sales tools in the field, such as product displays and presentations.
Preparing sales analysis reports to illustrate growth trends and year-over-year comparisons.
Effectively managing an up-to-date Outlook calendar with all appointments and schedules.
Keeping supervisors informed of key developments impacting the assigned territory, including competitor actions and dealer updates.
Engaging in local relevant specifier associations, such as AIA, ASID, ICAA, and DLN.
We believe the successful candidate will have:
A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or technical school.
Prior technical architectural experience that supports a seamless transition into a sales role focused on the A&D community.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with strong data entry and reporting skills.
Experience with Salesforce.com is advantageous.
A robust understanding of the A&D community, with proven success in collaborating with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and landscape architects.
The ability to develop and manage a strategic list of residentially focused specifiers.
A strong network within the local A&D community.
Local candidates only and those with relevant A&D experience will be prioritized!
Certifications & Licenses:
A valid driver's license.
Availability to travel 50% of the time.
The compensation for this role at AZEK varies based on several factors, including office location, role, skills, and experience level. The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000. In addition to the base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities to significantly enhance earning potential.
