The

Benefits Administrator

is responsible for the coordination and administration of group benefits programs for Aegis Team Members. He or she will work with consultants and Human Resources Leadership to research and recommend new benefits programs, improve existing benefits programs, and provide analytical data and support to leadership regarding plan participation and competitive position locally and nationwide.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Administer enrollments, changes, and terminations as well as coordinate Aegis benefits plans including:

Medical, Dental, and Vision Short-Term Disability/Long-Term Disability Flexible Spending and Health Savings Account(s) Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) Wellness Program

Perform monthly plan audits as well as coordinate and/or participate in quarterly and annual auditing as required Conduct billing review and coordinate payments with Accounts Payable team Coordinates the open enrollment process through the HR System, including but not limited to: creating new benefit plans, uploading benefits content, and configuring benefit plans to assist with the Electronic Data Interface File (EDI) exchange to the carriers. Ensure regulatory compliance, filing, and reporting are complete for all plans as needed Send annual disclosure notices including, but not limited to: ACA, 401(k), Medicare Part D, etc. Act as liaison with third party administrator for administration of leaves of absence in accordance with all company policies and state/federal regulations (FMLA, personal leave, USERRA, workers' compensation, etc.) Works with Human Resources Leadership to evaluate and make recommendations for any ADA accommodation requests Answer benefit related questions for Aegis Team Members in an efficient, courteous manner Create and maintain benefits files for all Aegis Team Members Provide benefits education to all Aegis Team Members in both orientation and additional learning settings (open enrollment, etc.) Work with brokers and vendors to analyze Aegis' benefits plans including usage, coverage, and competitive trends on an ongoing basis, as well as provide recommendations to Human Resources Leadership Establish long term goals for new benefit programs, review short and long term cost projections and analysis regarding changes in benefit programs, and provide breakdown reports to Human Resources Leadership for further review In collaboration with Human Resources Leadership, implement new benefit programs and enhance/update current programs Plan/facilitate special benefit and wellness events including but not limited to: on-site clinics, Team Member Benefits Fairs, 401(k) meetings, etc. Assist with monitoring of administrative costs of programs; recommend cost containment strategies Create communications regarding benefits and wellness programs to ensure updates are disseminated to Team Members in a timely manner utilizing company communications tools (Aegis Alert, Email, Aegis Insights, etc.) Other Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality with regard to all Team Member protected health information and payroll/accounting information Participate in process improvements including process definition, measurement analysis, and implementation of controls Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill Encompass a "can do" attitude and represent Aegis in a professional, positive manner Meets consistent deadlines with many interruptions Other duties as required and assigned Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in benefits administration required ADP experience preferred PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS professional designations preferred Attention to detail and critical thinking skills required Excellent communication and organizational skills required Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and filing/compliance requirements
