Position Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing revenue through new and existing customer accounts by building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored packaging and logistics solutions.
This role is customer-facing, focused on developing opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on closer with strong commercial acumen and experience selling industrial services or engineered solutions.
The role is a full time position and will require frequent travel to meet with Customers. The role will be remote and desire is to find the right person opposed to location.
Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customers for the Semiconductor Segment. Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in packaging, crating, and logistics services. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customer decision-makers and procurement teams. Develop proposals, quotations, and pricing aligned with company profitability goals. Collaborate closely with operations, design engineering, and logistics teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. Track customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM systems. Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and renewals. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities. Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Education/Knowledge/Skills/Experience Desired
Education - Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering. Packaging background desired but not required. Experience - 5+ years of experience in business development, account management and/or outside sales experience in any of the following disciplines: Semiconductor, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing or Packaging Solutions. Proven track record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Understanding of industrial packaging, crating, or logistics operations ideal, however will receive training program on all products and services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-starter with a customer-first mindset and ability to work independently.
