Position Summary
The
Inventory Control Coordinator
is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient warehouse organization, and supporting daily operations within FEI’s Medford facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment are received, stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently to support field operations and project teams across multiple divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate
inventory counts
through regular cycle counts, spot checks, and full audits.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
Stock, organize, and label materials and equipment in designated locations for quick and efficient retrieval.
Track and reconcile
inventory discrepancies
and communicate shortages, overages, or damage to management.
Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure materials are packaged and documented correctly.
Support
counter sales and technician requests
for parts, materials, and tools.
Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness in accordance with FEI policies.
Assist in developing, improving, and enforcing inventory control procedures.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) in compliance with OSHA standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and operations teams.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of experience
in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics .
Ability to
lift, push, pull, or carry up to 75 lbs.
Strong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
Basic math, counting, and data entry skills required.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with
fire safety materials and systems (sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers)
.
Forklift certification
(or willingness to become certified).
Proficiency with inventory management systems or basic computer literacy.
