Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON-SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: The Supervisor, Admitting has responsibility for the daily operation of all registration activities (including patient check-in, insurance verification and point of service collections) for the Admitting department. Working under the direction of the Manager, Admitting-CHD, the Supervisor, Admitting will ensure that the department's established revenue cycle objectives are met. Other duties as assigned. Experience Description: A minimum of three years of progressive Registration, Admissions and Hospital Revenue Cycle experience is required. Experience working in an Epic environment is preferred. Education Description: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Special Skills Description: Knowledge of all aspects of Registration, as well as regulatory standards and laws associated with acute care facilities and integrated health care delivery systems. Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates professionalism, tact and diplomacy when working with the Medical Staff, outside organizations and other facility departments. Must demonstrate strict attention to detail with ability to analyze data for effective and efficient outcomes. Communication skills, organizational skills and in-depth knowledge of registration and scheduling processes are critical to success in this position. Supervisor must possess excellent leadership skills including: coach mentoring skills, providing employees authority and accountability to reach full potential, recommending and implement enhancements to registration which improve revenue cycle, building a committed team. Licensure Description: CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) is preferred.
