Accounting Manager
to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead a small team, and partner closely with senior leadership to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the accounting function including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to GAAP standards. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting processes. Collaborate with operations and supply chain to analyze production costs, inventory valuation, and margin performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts. Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers during audits and filings. Continuously evaluate accounting processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. Assist the CFO with special projects and strategic financial initiatives. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Prior experience in a
manufacturing or industrial environment
strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (experience with
NetSuite, Sage, or Epicor
a plus). Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Why Join:
