Schedule:
Every other weekend & holiday required

No on-call required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza (Flu)
Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience required
Ability to float to other med/surg units as needed
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical hospital setting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policies and clinical best practices
Accurately document patient care, assessments, and progress in the electronic health record
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including patient and family education
Participate in unit-based performance improvement initiatives and shared governance
Offer clinical support and guidance to other healthcare departments as needed
Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
