Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Telemetry nursing experience required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
Strong teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Ability to provide clinical support to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-operative patients with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck surgeries, including surgical oncology cases
Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Participate in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge nurse responsibilities as needed
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient care
Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic clinical environment
