It's an exciting time to join Kerry and we are hiring a Plant Manager for our Seattle, WA facility. As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the site, reporting directly into the VP of Operations. The Plant Manager role is pivotal in overseeing site operations and ensuring the plant's performance, safety, and growth. This position requires leadership, managing costs, quality, safety, personnel development, and customer relationships.
About the role
Key responsibilities
Direct and lead all operations within the plant
Provide functional leadership within the plant
Accountable for all QHSE initiatives across the site
Responsible for all site capital projects
Develop and maintain qualified personnel within all departments
Maintain plant infrastructure for future viability and growth
Set overall expectations/standards and motivate employees to perform
Drive a continuous improvement mind-set within plant environment
Support cluster leads around strategy, policy and risk management
Ensure talent management and succession planning strategy are executed
Build relationships with customers at all levels
Ensure plant inventory is managed appropriately
Key Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
BS/MS degree in Engineering, Business, Food Science, or similar
10+ Years of experience in manufacturing
Technology understanding of unit of operations
Process and procedurally oriented
Knowledgeable in continuous improvement and analysis
HACCP, OSHA and food safety experience preferred
Experience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry preferred
Demonstrates a firm command of technology deployed and end use applications
Understands HACCP, ISO, FSAI & Kerry QSHE standards and Systems
Relevant scientific knowledge & experience of food & processing technologies

The pay range for this position is $91,404 - $154,009 in Annual Salary . Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role . Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case . The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity . In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation .
