FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST MONTGOMERY, AL Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors in a busy construction office. This position supports day-to-day administrative operations by managing incoming calls, greeting guests, coordinating deliveries, and assisting project managers and office staff with clerical tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, clients, and subcontractors in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; take detailed messages as needed. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Support administrative functions such as filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation. Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room use as needed. Assist with maintaining office supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination. Provide general support to project managers, estimators, and other team members. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards. Qualifications:
2+ years of receptionist or administrative experience; construction or related industry preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Professional demeanor and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting. Work Environment:
Full-time, on-site position in a construction office. May occasionally assist with project document handling or field team coordination.
