is seeking a
Maintenance Technician II
to support one of our leading pharmaceutical manufacturing clients located in
Davie, FL . The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, light electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems within a
GMP-regulated environment .
Key Responsibilities Maintain building facilities and utilities in excellent
GMP
conditions, performing all duties safely and efficiently in compliance with
company policies, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines . Execute
preventive and corrective maintenance work orders
in a timely manner and ensure accurate monthly closure and filing. Provide support for
light electrical, HVAC, water, plumbing, patch/paint, and mechanical repairs
as required. Manage and coordinate
vendor service contracts
(pest control, landscaping, waste management, cleaning, uniforms, etc.) to ensure compliance and optimal service. Serve as a
liaison between management and service providers
to resolve facilities-related issues. Evaluate parts and supply inventories; request materials as needed to maintain smooth operations. Support facilities, utilities, and engineering teams in executing
corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
and improvement initiatives. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in adherence to
Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards . Qualifications
High School Diploma
required. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry
(must-have). At least 3 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience , including light electrical, HVAC, plumbing, water systems, patch/paint, and general mechanical repairs. Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to generate simple maintenance reports. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to
multitask and work independently . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
bilingual (English/Spanish)
a plus. Demonstrated commitment to
safety, compliance, and customer service .
