Join our Hilton Hotel! Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center, a Tapestry by Hilton brand, is looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to join the team. If you have a flexible schedule, like fixing things, and working collaboratively with a high pace team, this role will be a great fit for you. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package: health/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and life insurance, added holiday pay, and paid time off.
Property Location: 1000 Virginia Crossings Parkway, Glen Allen, VA (managed by OCI Hospitality)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs preventative maintenance duties in guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel
Responds to reported problems and issues and performs general repairs
Assists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes
Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot
Performs building and equipment preventative maintenance duties
Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency
Ensures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and secured
Maintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation
Maintains operational knowledge of common power and hand tools
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism
Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner
