POSITION: Educational Data Coordinator (12-month position)
The Educational Data Coordinator shall be responsible for administering all aspects of the district's Student Information System (SIS) and will develop and maintain coordination of district student data, codes, state reporting, and procedures. The Educational Data Coordinator shall serve as a member of the district technology team and provide leadership through the development of procedures for safe and effective use and other documentation and/or staff training opportunities that include technical assistance for the district student information system and related systems.
Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience as determined by the board. Knowledge, use and application of technology in an educational setting, as well as Student Information Systems (SIS), Genesis SIS experience, Cambium and NJSLEDS knowledge preferred. Must possess outstanding communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to adapt to changing technologies, procedures and regulations. Extensive computer knowledge with Microsoft Office and Google Suite for Education. Experience in general hardware and software operations required. Demonstrated proficiency in computer database entry and management, ability to export/import and manipulate data in multiple systems, with advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to ensure integrity of data, verify information regarding data quality, and data completeness. Such additions and/or alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
Compensation: Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
