Reporting to the Senior Merchant of USCA Women's Tops, the

Merchant, US/Canada Women's Knits

leads the assortment activation and in-season management of the Women's Knits categories in the US and Canada.

About the Job Provide assortment and buy plans that meet financial targets. Partner with global product teams and influence to improve assortment content through creation of product brief and regular check-ins on our performance. Lead assortment activation in-store, working with Brand Environment, and Store Training & Operations teams. Promote business with Retail Rhythm with main partners: Merch Planning and Allocation. Assess and analyze product performance and determine appropriate short, medium, and long-term actions to improve opportunities and minimize risk; draw overarching trend conclusions and convert to actions. Create awareness of monitor and react through recapping. Assess and manage overall health of assigned categories. Provide competitive analysis, including pricing and promotional strategies, and marketplace trends. About You

University/College degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing or other related fields. 3+ years of experience, with an apparel manufacturer, retailer, or marketer. Read and anticipate market trends and incorporate these into leading products that meet sales and profitability targets. Understand impact of product costing and margin requirements. Experience with apparel merchandising and Canadian marketplace needs. Knowledge of garment construction, fit and fabric. Understanding of domestic and off-shore sourcing. Understanding of product/brand positioning (pricing, advertising, promotions, and packaging/product presentation). Develop productive relationships with other LSC functions and with Global partners. Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Travel Required (%): Approximately 10 - 15%

This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $79,000 - $120,000 per year We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
