7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week
Contract Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026)
Weekend/Holiday:
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
Charge nurse experience required
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience and drip administration required
At least 3 months of previous travel nursing experience required
ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
Ability to float to any inpatient unit within RN scope of practice
Experience in small critical access healthcare facilities preferred
Must have reliable transportation (own vehicle required)
Minimum 1 year of overall nursing experience required
PCU RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care in an adaptive acuity unit, including PCU-level care (3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio)
Serve as charge nurse as needed during shifts
Administer and monitor IV drips and advanced therapies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other inpatient units as required within RN scope
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold hospital standards
Participate in all scheduled shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations
