Occasional office-based work for planning, meetings, and reporting will be required. Some travel to multiple project locations may be required. Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Project Manager to join our client's collaborative team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Initiation:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and schedules, tailored to client requirements. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine resource requirements. Budget & Financial Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices. Scheduling & Coordination:
Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment. Site Management & Supervision:
Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards. Monitor progress and resolve issues that may arise, minimizing delays. Team Leadership:
Lead project teams, including site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Provide clear direction and communication to ensure project objectives are met. Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies. Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to maintain a safe work environment. Quality Assurance:
Monitor the quality of concrete work, including formwork, placement, finishing, and curing processes. Conduct final inspections to ensure project completion meets client and company standards. Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management. Maintain detailed project documentation, including change orders and RFI logs. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Over five years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on concrete projects. Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore), and cost estimating tools. Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and best practices. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Outstanding communication and leadership abilities. Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Proven positive and professional attitude and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Certifications (Preferred):
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification ACI (American Concrete Institute) Certification Working Conditions:
