Project Manager – Division 8 (Doors, Frames & Hardware) Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Open to Remote or In-Person Candidates) Full-Time | Standard Benefits Package
About Us: We are a leading commercial door distributor based in Colorado Springs, specializing in Division 8 scopes across a wide range of commercial construction projects. Our team is built on a reputation of precision, reliability, and strong industry relationships. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team—someone who understands the complexities of Doors, Frames, and Hardware and is fluent in Comsense.
Position Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing Division 8 commercial construction projects from submittals through closeout. This includes managing schedules, coordinating materials, communicating with vendors and contractors, and running jobs through Comsense. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple commercial door, frame, and hardware projects simultaneously
Coordinate and communicate with GCs, suppliers, internal team members, and installers
Perform detailed take-offs and hardware schedules using Comsense Enterprise
Generate and review submittals, shop drawings, purchase orders, and change orders
Monitor project progress, deadlines, and budget compliance
Resolve issues quickly and professionally as they arise in the field or with product procurement
Ensure accurate and timely material deliveries and jobsite support
Participate in project meetings and maintain thorough documentation throughout the job cycle
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in Division 8 (Doors, Frames, and Hardware) project management
Proficient in
Comsense
(required)
Strong knowledge of door, frame, and hardware products and specifications
Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a remote or in-person setting
