Job Title: Localization Project Manager II
Location: 100% Remote (Must work PST hours)
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: $70-$75 per hour (W2)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to support global marketing and multimedia initiatives for a leading technology company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content localization, particularly for video and marketing campaigns, and a passion for delivering high-quality, culturally resonant content to international audiences.
This position requires exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end localization projects for marketing and multimedia content across 40+ languages and global markets. Coordinate video and subtitle localization (approximately 75% of workload), ensuring accuracy, timing, and alignment with brand tone and creative intent. Oversee content translation, review, and publishing in collaboration with editorial, business, and vendor teams. Input and manage localized assets within translation management systems and internal platforms. Monitor timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure projects stay on track and meet quality standards. Ensure linguistic and cultural accuracy of localized materials, maintaining brand consistency and market relevance. Support continuous process improvement for localization workflows, documentation, and vendor communication. Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in localization project management, preferably in marketing, multimedia, or digital content. Proven experience with video localization and subtitling workflows, including handling subtitle formats. Strong working knowledge of Localization tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar video tools). Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple global stakeholders. Keen understanding of cultural nuances and regional differences in content adaptation. Native-level fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language (preferred). Ideal Candidate Profile
Highly detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Adept at balancing creative, linguistic, and technical considerations in global content production. Collaborative mindset with experience working across editorial, creative, and localization vendor teams. Previous experience in localization agencies, global marketing teams, or tech environments is a plus.
