SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for leading projects at multiple sites from inception to completion. This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects within deadlines and budget constraints. The Project Manager will coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure all project requirements and objectives are met. Develop long- and short-term project plans, setting clear, attainable milestones and deadlines. Define and document project scopes, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Create detailed project schedules to track progress and ensure timely delivery. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays. Coordinate with leadership to allocate tasks based on team members' skills and project needs, ensuring optimal performance. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and team members throughout the project lifecycle. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain project standards and deliverables. Conduct regular reviews and assessments and adjust plans as necessary to meet quality expectations. Draft and submit budgets. Recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Adjust financial plans in line with changing project requirements or constraints. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in project management; or 5-7 years related equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Knowledge in project planning, task scheduling, budgeting, risk management and conflict resolution. Ability to initiate and manage project expectations with customers, team members and other stakeholders. Experience performing Risk Management and Mitigation in a proactive fashion. Ability to identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project). Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
