1st Shift, Full-time, direct hire Job Brief Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer for our client. This role involves designing, building, and testing advanced mechanical hardware systems with integrated sensors and control mechanisms. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD skills, a background in mechanical hardware development, and experience with complex system integration. What’s a Typical Day Like?
Design, build, and test mechanical hardware systems
Integrate sensors with hardware to achieve optimal control of process parameters
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely execution of work scope
Participate in development projects where time and cost are in focus
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems
Maintain accurate records including technical drawings and user manuals
Collaboration with other teams (mainly in the US)
Supporting other parts of the organization (sales, delivery, customer support)
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
Mechanical hardware development
Design with CAD software
refrigeration and vacuum systems
Data acquisition and motion control are an advantage
Result-oriented, methodical and structured
Knowledge about ultrasonic NDT is desirable
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Speak and write English fluently, MUST be US and work on ITAR-related projects in Cincinnati, Ohio

Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
