Senior Construction Project Manager
to lead mid to large-scale
commercial and public works
projects valued between $5M and $50M+. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing complete construction cycles—from preconstruction to project close-out—while ensuring timely delivery and financial efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee all project phases, including budget management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and safety protocols. Lead RFIs, manage submittals, conduct OAC meetings, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and public agencies (DSA, OSHPD, city officials, etc.). Drive field performance, mentor project superintendents, and uphold accountability among trade partners. Manage cost forecasting, change order processes, and pay applications with meticulous attention to detail and transparency. Support business development and preconstruction initiatives by analyzing plans, budgets, and schedules. Ensure compliance with DSA and public contract specifications as needed. Qualifications At least 7 years of project management experience with a general contractor. Extensive background in
commercial, civic, or public works
construction (preferably with DSA experience). Proficient in
Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project / P6 . Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust among owners and field teams. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and thrive in fast-paced project environments.
