Maintenance Technician I
plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and efficient work environment by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining powered equipment, facility, and grounds. SHIFT:
10B Tuesday-Friday 4:30PM-2:30AM Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, ensuring that all maintenance needs are met for a safe working environment. Accurately document time and materials used in the CMMS program to maintain an organized record of inventory and labor reporting. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on all facility assets, including conveyor systems, power equipment, industrial batteries, dock equipment, racking systems, lighting, and HVAC. Monitor machine systems for proper operation and safety, addressing any issues proactively. Follow vendor specifications and safety procedures during service measures. Prioritize tasks effectively based on their impact on the operation and business needs. Comply with lock out/tag out (LOTO) and Arc Flash safety guidelines consistently. Qualifications: Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse environment focused on maintenance service for power equipment, with a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Further coursework or on-the-job training in mechanical, electrical, welding, controls, HVAC, or plumbing is preferred. Certifications:
Any trade or technical certification related to facility maintenance is a plus. Preferred Skills:
Proficient in reading service manuals, assembly drawings, and schematics in various formats. Comfortable with basic computer applications. Working Conditions: Ability to perform in a physically demanding environment, including temperature extremes and interaction with both mobile and stationary equipment. Navigating inclines, wet or slippery surfaces, and using ladders is required. Exposure to varying noise levels and air quality may occur. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be necessary for certain tasks. Willingness to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions.
