Description: The Sonographer will perform various modalities of cardiac ultrasound. Responsibilities include providing assistance in transesophageal echo procedures. The role also performs other noninvasive testing, including electrocardiograms and the application of Holter monitors. The Sonographer is accountable for the preparation of preliminary interpretation reports for echocardiograms. Additional tasks include study transmittal and coverage for satellite sites.
