In this role, you will impact the organization by implementing process improvement initiatives, analyzing data to identify areas for optimization, and driving continuous improvement efforts. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly production totals and metrics. Coordinates production priorities to meet customer demand. May provide instructions to operations personnel during supervisor’s absence.

Responsible for creating and monitoring of yields, OEE, key process indicators, and product quality.

Works closely with operations to troubleshoot issues and maintain plant stability.

Ensures HSE requirements are met at all times.

Uses problem analysis to help in developing new process and procedures.

Works with site and corporate process engineering groups and R&D to define and execute productivity projects.

Utilizes data acquisition and manipulation techniques to interpret results and recommend corrective action for optimum plant operation. Conduct RCA and implements corrective action as directed using the management of change (MOC) process.

Conducts economic studies for optimization of production rates and costs for justification of projects concerned with plant changes and/or fixed capital additions.

Prepares or assists in preparation of process designs including equipment specifications, flow diagrams, P&ID’s, and operating instructions for modification or additions to existing plants.

Actively participate in PHA reviews and close out action items.

Other duties and assignments as needed by supervision/management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process design into manufacturing operations.

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance product quality.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes.

Conduct process simulations and analyses to identify areas for improvement.

Document process designs, specifications, and procedures.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

2+ years of experience in process engineering or a related field.

WE VALUE:

Experience with film winding process, familiar with roll quality parameters, root cause and correct actions

Significant experience in manufacturing related to production or process engineering

Leadership experience with the ability to connect and inspire others

A proven track record of leading projects and teams that successfully achieve milestones and complete deliverables.

Greenbelt/DFSS certified, ability to apply Six Sigma tools to drive process improvements.

Experience with continuous process improvement projects

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Ability to work well with others at all organizational levels and promote a team environment

Excellent organization, planning, oral and written communications skills.

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $82k-$124k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
