The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in supporting the Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this pivotal role, you will aid the Department of Air Force (DAF) in the design, development, integration, validation, operation, and maintenance of cutting-edge features and capabilities on the DI Network.
ABMS stands as a critical modernization effort for the DAF, establishing a network-centric approach to battle management in collaboration with all branches of the Department of Defense. This initiative is part of the larger Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) strategy, aimed at enabling U.S. forces, as well as allies and partners, to rapidly sense, analyze, and act on vast streams of data and information faster than adversaries.
This position can be performed remotely, but occasional in-person support at the Orlando office is required, with a preference for candidates within commutable distance.
Primary Responsibilities
Support a System of Systems digital engineering approach through all phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle.
Develop and maintain the baseline architecture model of existing systems while ensuring effective configuration management of the ABMS DI network.
Create, update, and integrate MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulations using Cameo Systems Modeler.
Facilitate technical exchanges and information sharing with various government and contractor organizations while participating in Working Groups and IPTs.
Drive process development and improvement initiatives.
Interface with ABMS performers to ensure smooth integration into a larger system-of-systems model.
Assist in Requirements development and management using a requirements management tool (e.g., DOORS, Cameo).
Support Risk and Opportunity Management strategies.
Assist in training and onboarding developers for DI network features and capabilities.
Support testing, integration, verification, validation, and deployment of operational systems.
Basic Qualifications
Active Secret clearance with the potential to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years relevant experience or a Master's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may substitute for formal education.
Proficient in Systems Engineering modeling tools (e.g., DOORS and Cameo).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with customers, domain experts, and systems engineers on complex DoD systems.
Proven ability to engage in cross-functional planning, coordination, and execution of tasks across system integration activities.
Able to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse disciplines and varying technical expertise.
Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing, Networks, Tactical Communications, Data Management, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and C4ISR systems integration.
Experience with Agile methodologies and agile tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence).
Expertise in ICAM and Data Distribution Architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of computer networking.
Expertise in Cloud Architecture.
Active TS/SCI clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range: $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
