Description

CTG is seeking a

Process Engineer III

to join a dynamic, cross-functional engineering team supporting high-speed cable manufacturing. This hands-on role focuses on optimizing process performance, reducing variability and defects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and advanced data analytics.

You'll collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, and operations teams to qualify and ramp up manufacturing equipment, implement process controls, and enhance product quality and capacity. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a high-tech, high-performance production environment.

Top Skills

Hands-on manufacturing experience (cable or similar preferred)

Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Experience with SPC, DoE, and process improvement methods

Proficiency with JMP, Minitab, or Power BI

Proven track record with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Education

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience (5+ years) considered

Experience

5+ years as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment

Experience in high-speed equipment environments (jacketing, ribbon stranding, buffering) a plus

Key Responsibilities

Lead process improvement and defect reduction initiatives

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for quality, throughput, and cost

Drive root cause investigations and implement sustainable solutions

Develop SOPs, job aids, and training documentation

Mentor junior engineers and share best practices

Present findings and project updates to leadership

Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
