We are looking for an experience Diesel Mechanic that has the knowledge, experience and leadership to help grow our business.
Repairs and maintains all components in light, medium and heavy duty trucks.
Operate various manufacturer computer programs to run diagnostic tests.
Diagnoses trouble codes, disassembles engines and other truck components, and examines parts for defects and excessive wear.
Reconditions and replaces truck parts and components using, hand tools, pneumatic tools and precision measuring instruments.
Must be able to lift Heavy equipment approx. 50lbs and more
May weld and cut parts, using arc-welding and flame cutting equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on trucks that are running properly: rotating tires, changing engine oil, replacing oil and fuel filters, inflating tires, replacing worn brake pads and shoes, and topping off fluids in the engine compartment.
Must have a valid driver’s license: CDL
Diagnostics and repair of air and hydraulic brake systems, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning systems, Fueling systems and engine mechanical repairs.
Experience perform PM related services.
Accurately document work performed on repair orders.
Certifications on either Freightliner, Isuzu or Hino products are a plus.
State Inspection License (NJ) and/or DOT Inspection License (NJ,)
Pay will be based on skill and years of experience
