A large, full-service acute care hospital in southern Nevada is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead its perioperative team. This role provides a unique opportunity to oversee 24/7 surgical operations in a high-volume, technology-driven environment with multiple specialties and advanced robotic capabilities.
Shift Details Full-time, day shifts
No weekends
24/7 responsibility for OR, Preop/PACU, PAT, and SPD departments

Your Role
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all perioperative services
Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all surgical services
Coach, mentor, and develop staff; facilitate employee engagement
Monitor compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies
Lead performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs
Manage departmental resources and support program growth strategies
Participate in hospital committees and internal/external networking
Promote consistent positive patient interactions and operational excellence

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred Current RN license in the state 3+ years of surgical services leadership experience (manager experience considered) CNOR and/or CSSM preferred Strong operational, leadership, and communication skills
