Position Overview

Ninyo & Moore is seeking an experienced

ASNT Level III Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician

to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT), with demonstrated expertise in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT). The candidate may reside in any city where Ninyo & Moore a SOCOTEC Company has an established office within the following states: AZ, CA, UT, NV. This position will require regional travel and field testing.

Required Qualifications ASNT Level III Certification in the following methods:

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Penetrant Testing (PT)

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with both Shear Wave and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Minimum 5+ years of progressive NDT experience Proven ability to write, review, and approve NDT procedures and work instructions Experience training and certifying Level I and Level II technicians Key Responsibilities

Perform and oversee NDT inspections using UT, MT, PT, and PAUT techniques Develop, review, and approve written NDT procedures in accordance with applicable codes and standards Train, examine, and certify NDT personnel at Level I and Level II Provide technical guidance and support to NDT staff and project teams Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, etc.) Conduct equipment calibration and maintain inspection equipment Interface with clients and regulatory inspectors as required Assist with maintaining compliance with the California Division of the State Architect for NDT. Demonstrate and educate existing and potential clients on the potential of advanced ultrasonic testing to further their success. Preferred Qualifications

Additional ASNT Level III certifications (VT) Familiarity with industry codes: ASME, AWS & API Experience in aerospace, oil & gas, power generation, or manufacturing industries Strong computer skills including PAUT data analysis software Excellent communication and leadership abilities
