Springfield, MO Pay:

$18.00-$21.65 per hour

Job Summary The Medical Services Coordinator provides administrative and medical support. The coordinator is responsible for coordinating and facilitating client services with internal and external providers.

Major Duties: • Coordinates with outside providers to provide medical services to the clients served • Schedules, updates calendar, transports, and documents all health care appointments and lab work for the clients • Tracks medical, vision, dental visits for all clients to ensure compliance • Transports clients to appointments when needed • Performs general office duties • Updates and maintains files • Completes medical record requests • Assists with immunization tracking and clinics • Assists with any nursing clinics offered at KVC Missouri • Assists with different office duties to include ordering supplies as needed

Education: • High School diploma or equivalent

Licensure/Certification: • N/A

Qualifications: • Possesses a current, valid MO Class E driver's license and meets the KVC requirements for driver's insurance • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently • Ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information • Ability to operate in a challenging, ever-changing, multidisciplinary team environment

Experience:

Preferred Experience/Skills: • Medical/medical office work experience • Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment
