Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will perform preventative maintenance as well as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.

Responsibilities

Use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

Determine causes of operating problems in areas such as plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic industrial equipment.

Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment such as motors, conveyors, pumps, paint equipment, material handling equipment, gearboxes, overhead cranes, and other mechanical components.

Conduct electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and repairs on equipment ranging from single-phase 240v to 3-phase 480v.

Tack weld (stick or MIG) for minor repairs as needed.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLCs, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), AMUs, CPUs, etc.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical wiring and schematic reading.

Experience in pneumatics, troubleshooting, and hydraulics.

Understanding of three-phase electrical systems and single-phase systems.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Experience with welding and fabrication.

Competency in PLC troubleshooting and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Experience in electrical work is advantageous.

Experience with fabrication is beneficial.

Ability to read schematics and other prints for repairs.

Work Environment

Openings are available on both shifts: the standard shift is four 10-hour days, occasionally extending to five days. First shift runs from 6 am to 4:30 pm and second shift from 5 pm to 3:30 am, with potential for extended hours during busy seasons. The production environment may expose you to high and low temperatures and loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant. Candidates should be willing to work at heights and may need to cover maintenance beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays based on equipment downtimes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $70000.00/yr.
