Sr. Development Accountant - Hybrid $90k - 125k + Bonus
Why This Job Is Attractive: Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $90k - $125k plus a 10% annual bonus target Comprehensive Benefits: Includes 401(k) with profit sharing, HSA funding, and Health & Dental coverage with 85% paid by the company Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid work schedule, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office collaboration on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Growth Opportunity: Direct ownership of major projects, including large-scale real estate developments with multi-million-dollar budgets Dynamic Role: Involvement in both property and development accounting, working closely with cross-functional teams, including asset management, project managers, and property managers Key Responsibilities: Direct ownership of two major projects, one in Saratoga, FL, and another in North Carolina Oversee and review the financials of six operational properties managed by third-party property accountants Collaborate with asset management, project managers, property managers, and internal operations to ensure the financial success of projects Review and enter monthly financial packages from third-party property managers into the system Perform property accounting, development accounting, and financial analysis using tools such as Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) Provide financial oversight on large-scale real estate developments and multi-family residential projects Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience 4-7 years overall accounting experience 1-3 years accounting experience within residential real estate Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups Proven ability to manage a portfolio of properties or development projects with significant ownership
