13 Weeks Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Job Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, stent placements, and angioplasties. Assist with electrophysiology procedures, ablations, pacemaker insertions, thrombectomies, TEEs, and other complex cardiac interventions. Set up, maintain, and operate specialized cath lab equipment including Impella, IABP, ROTABLATOR, and Shockwave devices. Monitor and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, maintaining sterile field and supporting physicians during procedures. Ensure proper infection control practices and adherence to hospital safety standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiology, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response staff for optimal patient outcomes. Participate in on-call rotations (approximately 12 days per month) to provide emergency support for cardiac cases. Required Information:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience; travel experience preferred. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS required. Licensure: Active state license required at submission. System Experience: Meditech preferred. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; on-call required (approx. 12 days/month). Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics. Note: Electrophysiology experience is required.
