The Facility Technician will support daytime operations at Lyten's Fremont and San Jose, California facilities. This is an onsite position. The technician ensures that Facility maintenance procedures are properly followed. Performs basic Facilities maintenance tasks that can be accomplished working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the organization through performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems. Knowledgeable of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ensure maintenance is documented appropriately. The Technician will help to identify and address safety and environmental concerns. May provide training and guidance to other Facilities staff on maintenance activities.

Responds quickly to equipment, facility, and EHS issues by performing initial troubleshooting and provides further information to their supervisor for resolution, as appropriate. Conducts and documents inspections and rounds to track equipment and facility performance. Submits requests for repair or service as needed. Coordinates with and hosts onsite vendors, service providers, and contractors who are performing Facilities and/or EHS work at the site. Perform routine maintenance such as replacing filters, lubricating pumps, and running diagnostics. Assist with physical moving of equipment. May track inventory of EHS lab supplies and PPE and restock as needed. Hazardous Materials & Waste Management: (training to be provided as necessary) Maintains inventory of hazardous materials and waste. Conducts daily visual inspections of hazardous waste satellite accumulation areas and manages containers as needed. Manages hazardous waste including moving full containers to the accumulation areas and makes arrangements for proper disposal by an approved service provider. Ensures proper labeling of drums/containers at satellite accumulation areas and hazardous waste accumulation areas. Serves as a member of the site emergency response team. Conducts monthly inspections of first aid kits, fire extinguishers, safety showers, and eye wash stations. Repairs or replaces equipment as needed. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger multi-functional team. Good team player in any environment; Listens well to understand all perspectives and strives to learn from others. Adaptable and eager to learn. Functional Knowledge

Basic understanding of environmental and safety regulations, standards, and industry practices. Familiarity with hydro-mechanical systems and principles. Knowledge of pumps and pump assembly. Maintenance principles and scheduling. Problem Solving

Ability to provide detailed reports to management when issues arise. Able to perform simple troubleshooting like power cycling, clearing faults and alarms, and determine possible cause of events. Contribution

Works closely with all teams across the site supporting a wide variety of tasks. This position helps to ensure the stability and predictability of facilities infrastructure systems. This position helps ensure a safe workplace and minimizes environmental impact. Interpersonal Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of experience in facilities development, security management, or manufacturing Compensations Range:

The expected base salary range for this position is between $31.63 - $47.50 The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for tier based bonus and equity, healthcare, dental, vision, corporate discounts, paid holidays, PTO and sick time, 401K, employee relocation plan (if applicable)
