About the Position:
First Internet Bank provides exciting internship opportunities for individuals pursuing their degree. The purpose of the First Internet Bank Internship Program is to provide a hands-on experience in a business setting and to present interns with real world insight into regulatory compliance for financial institutions. As an Enterprise Risk Management Intern at First Internet Bank, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various members throughout different lines of business within the Bank in order to complete a variety of tasks.
What You Will Do: Work on maintaining and executing an Enterprise Risk Management Program focused on the following risks:
Compliance/Legal Risk Operations Risk Credit Risk Interest Rate Risk Third Party Risk Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Risk Model Risk
Responsibilities and duties around these risks will include:
Maintaining and collecting records and data used to identify and measure these risks Preparing charts and graphs to communicate risks Maintaining the Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan Maintaining the Third-Party Risk Management Program utilizing vendor management system Perform inventory of risk models for Bank
What We're Looking For:
Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with demonstrated interest in finance/banking This internship requires an ongoing pursuit of a college degree preferably in business, finance, compliance, risk management, or a related field Experience utilizing Excel and other Microsoft Office products, including pivot table creation Excellent analytical, organization & data management skills Must possess the ability to collaborate with internal/external partners Proficient level of problem solving, learning on the fly, and making the best use of system capabilities. Superb communication skills Working Conditions/Demands:
Professional office setting. Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer. Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
