Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
The
Director, Government Pricing
will lead a team responsible for the calculation, analysis, and reporting of all U.S. government pricing programs in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. This role ensures the integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of government price reporting - including AMP, BP, Non-FAMP, FCP, ASP, and 340B pricing - while safeguarding company compliance and reputation. The Director will interpret complex government pricing regulations, manage system integrations and reconciliations, and drive strategic enhancements to pricing methodologies and processes. The position requires a collaborative leader who partners cross-functionally with Legal, Contract Operations, and Digital teams to uphold best practices and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Government Pricing team, fostering a culture of compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee all government price reporting calculations, including:
Monthly and Quarterly AMP & BP Quarterly ASP, Non-FAMP, Annual Non-FAMP, and FCP Quarterly 340B pricing submissions
Ensure full compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, VA Healthcare Act, and all relevant pricing regulations. Manage reconciliations between the general ledger and government pricing systems. Partner with Legal, Digital, and Contract Operations to address data integrity and system accuracy issues. Direct government pricing activities related to product launches, acquisitions, and divestitures. Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation (e.g., Reasonable Assumptions, procedures, and calculation checklists). Serve as the subject matter expert on federal pricing regulations and methodologies. Drive system and process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency. Support audits, litigation responses, and cross-functional pricing initiatives. Promote company values and maintain the highest standards of integrity and compliance. Education:
MBA or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Policy, or Healthcare. Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Minimum 1-2 years of experience specifically in government pricing. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. Prior large pharma experience strongly preferred. Knowledge & Skills
In-depth understanding of U.S. Government Pricing laws and regulations including OBRA 90/93, Deficit Reduction Act, VA Healthcare Act, Medicare Modernization Act, ACA, and Inflation Reduction Act. Expertise in AMP, BP, ASP, Non-FAMP, FCP, and 340B program methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging senior leadership. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Model N, and SAP. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to compliance, ethics, and continuous improvement.
