The primary purpose of this job is to provide inspection support for Quality to ensure that product from outside vendors is conforming to customer requirements, and medical device manufacturing/operations are performed in accordance with applicable Regulatory and Standards requirements for compliance

Essential duties and responsibilities

Adheres to Viant Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. Inspect vendor supplied raw material, components, and assemblies, including completion of related documentation to support product acceptance and traceability. In-process inspection, final inspection and/or first article inspection as required. Use most gaging methods in the facility, including optical comparator, VMM, CMM, calipers, micrometers, gage pins/hard gages, profilometer, and height stands. Understanding of GD&T and other blueprint and dimensioning methods Implements various product and process improvement methodologies. Assist in executing capability studies and test method validation. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities as needed. May assist in performing calibration activities Performs other functions as required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing a plus Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel preferred Experience with Minitab is a plus Competence in the selection and use of Inspection Tools and Techniques. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to understand and comply with relevant Domestic and International Regulations and Industry Standards (e.g. FDA 21CRF820, ISO 13485:2016, QSR, etc.) Must be able to complete prioritized tasks with minimal direct supervision

We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $19.00-$35.00 hourly wage. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
