Position Purpose
The Restaurant Host is the first point of contact for guests in the restaurant, ensuring a
welcoming and organized dining experience.
Key Responsibilities • Upon arriving, the host should look through the day's reservations and clock any
special notes, ironing out plans to accommodate guest needs/celebrations • The host should constantly be looking ahead in the books to ensure proper
attention • Thorough knowledge of the reservation platform, Resy. • Communicate to management and Chefs any flagged concerns • Maintain proper phone etiquette, following established protocols • Keep an organized host stand, clean and tidy as necessary • Sanitize guest high touch areas regularly • Strong, upbeat and positive personality • Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail • Passion for food, beverage and hospitality • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
Requirements • Previous front-of-house hospitality experience preferred. • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Professional demeanor and appearance. • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
