Maintenance Technician
The maintenance technician is responsible for electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of CNC Swiss-Style machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures of CNC production machines in a timely manner. Perform all building maintenance and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and etc. Diagnose, disassemble and determine extent of repairs necessary. Repair, refit, or replace parts. Works with blueprints and manuals to perform required work. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. Prepare and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts. Install new machines and relocate existing machines. Work in a safe manner and ensure that equipment is in a safe working condition. Address issues in a positive manner. Perform other work-related activities as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or plant manager. Position Requirements
5-10 years' experience in electrical and mechanical repair of CNC machines. Excellent knowledge of machines and equipment, familiarity with Citizen and Tornos machines a plus. Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics. Possess strong mathematical abilities, verbal/written communication and problem solving skills. Trained in operation of forklifts, hand and power tools, and machine shop skills. Ability to troubleshoot with limited guidance. Diagnostic and parameter proficiency. Previous experience of machine installation and relocation. Previous welding experience a plus. Requires visual acuity (corrected) to read directions and blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and perform repairs. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery and use hand tools. Physical ability to stand, crouch, bend, twist, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and various types of manual labor. Physical strength to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Ability to multitask and strong attention for details. Can-do attitude. Starting Rate: potential earnings up to $25+ per hour dependent on experience and skill level. Benefits
