We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Data Analyst to join our Travel and Expense team. This role is located in / Lake Mary FL - and would be a hybrid position.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Collaborates with vendor partners to exchange information with respect to reporting of daily and monthly travel, card and expense reporting activities and initiatives.
Reviews data and assists in resolving escalated problems that may arise during the normal daily, weekly, or monthly accounting and reporting.
Support the implementation of controls for audit purposes and AI tools to identify fraud and data trends.
Overseas all reporting across Travel, Card and Expense, creating power bi dashboards, ensuring accuracy of data, and opportunities to streamline the process.
Performs first-level quality assurance of deliverables for more complex compliance initiatives in accordance with department policies.
Tracks data needed for financial reporting/budgeting. Reviews work of other team members, resolves data discrepancies, and escalates issues to more senior team members.
Gathers required data elements, as needed, for various regulatory filings. Provides status updates on progress of data collection.
Implements system and operational modifications to comply with more straightforward regulatory changes in regard to data collection. Updates systems and information return layouts.
Assists in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve team efficiency.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
5 years of industry experience and knowledge of data analytics within a highly complex and regulated global organization is preferred.
Decision making skills in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment.
Strong collaboration skills. Can work in partnership with key stakeholders from multiple functions and locations.
Ability to see potential upstream and downstream data impacts of T&E change.
Strategic mindset, but able to get into the details when required.
Strong problem-solving skills – ability to remove complex obstacles.
Ability to analyze and understand complex data to help drive decision making.
Strong communication skills to communicate at all levels & functions of the organization effectively and articulately, as well as external third parties.
Able to work independently and have an eye for detail.
Working knowledge and experience of data analysis tools (Smartsheet, Power BI, etc.)
Full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree/qualification in data science, accounting and/or finance.
